Eco Heroes International SL is a sociedad de responsabilidad limitada (limited liability company) registered in Spain.

Purpose of the Platform

The Eco Heroes Academy is an online learning platform providing sustainability training for tourism professionals, structured around the seventeen United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and available in multiple languages.

Our activity on this platform consists of:

• Providing access to structured sustainability course content.
• Issuing completion Diplomas to Learners who successfully complete learning tracks.
• Processing payments for paid tiers via third-party payment processors.
• Sending transactional email related to account activation, password recovery, and Diploma delivery.

Hosting

The Platform is hosted within the European Union on infrastructure provided by:

Terms of Use and Privacy

Use of the Platform is governed by:

• Terms of Service — the contractual terms between Learners (or Organisations) and Eco Heroes International SL.
• Privacy Policy — the full GDPR Article 13 disclosure covering what personal data we collect, why, and your rights.
• Cookie Policy — details of cookies used by the Platform.

Registration with the Platform constitutes acceptance of these documents.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including course materials, videos, illustrations, text, software, the "Eco Heroes" and "eh!" trademarks, and visual identity — is the property of Eco Heroes International SL or used under licence. See Section 6 of the Terms of Service for the full intellectual property clauses and the licences granted to Learners.

Reproduction, distribution, public communication, or transformation of any content without the express written consent of Eco Heroes International SL is prohibited, except as permitted by law or by the Terms of Service.

Liability

Eco Heroes International SL operates the Platform with reasonable skill and care. The specific warranties, disclaimers, and limitations of liability are set out in Sections 10 and 11 of the Terms of Service, which form an integral part of this Legal Notice.

In particular, Learners should note that:

• The Diploma issued by the Academy is a statement of completion of the Academy's own learning programme. It is not an accredited qualification, a regulated professional certification, or a licence.
• Course content has been developed in good faith with reference to materials from the United Nations, UNWTO, GSTC, and EFRAG frameworks. It is not a substitute for sector-specific regulated training where such training is legally required.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

This Legal Notice and all use of the Platform are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Spain. Disputes arising from the use of the Platform are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Girona, Spain, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection provisions of the consumer's country of habitual residence and the rights set out in Section 15 of the Terms of Service.

Online Dispute Resolution

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 524/2013, the European Commission operates an Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform for out-of-court resolution of disputes arising from online transactions:

Consumers resident in the EU may use this platform to resolve disputes related to purchases made on the Academy.

Data protection

For data protection matters, the competent supervisory authority is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD), C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid, www.aepd.es. See Section 12 of the Privacy Policy for complaint procedure.

Consumer protection

For consumer protection matters, consumers may address complaints to the competent municipal or regional consumer protection office in their jurisdiction. In Catalonia, the competent authority is the Agència Catalana del Consum, consum.gencat.cat.
